今年的聖誕過的很震驚，Boxing day隔天出門買菜，突然發現銀行裡千多鎊全不見了，還額外積欠銀行三百多鎊，當下是惶恐震驚無比；怕是自己遇上所謂的網路詐騙集團，還是網拍下，駭客獲得我的銀行帳號，心理是上上下下起伏不定。
更慘的是身邊只剩下不到５０Ｐ的零錢，連公車都坐不起，快步走到最鄰近的提款機，再次確定是否是提款機出錯，還是真的錢不翼而飛了。查了兩三次，真的是透支過度，菜也不用買了，直接就殺到學校的銀行去，問個清楚到底自己的銀行是到底出了啥錯。去了銀行查了自己近來的帳目出入表，原來是自己宿舍扣款，但是卻提早了一個半月，在未通知我且是非合約上約定的扣款日扣款；至少不是什麼銀行詐騙問題。但是銀行把帳款在未通知且非約定日領走，也是一個很嚴重的問題。

Lately I've been interested in Goth culture and find them quite interesting. Therefore, I came up an idea of drawing a Gothic picture to satisfy myself and for Christmas & New Year. I spent around two hours to draw this Gothic G4 illustration. Wish everyone enjoy Christmas & New year.
近來對哥德文化挺有興趣，也突發奇想畫了張哥德G4來滿足自己；也希望祝福大家聖誕快樂跟新年快樂。這張圖花了大概兩個鐘頭左右。最後希望大家耶誕快樂跟新年恭喜。
這些大頭G4已經畫了幾十張系列，只是最近轉到比較輕鬆簡單的雜誌風格的心情小圖片方式（省時省力），以後有機會會貼圖分享囉！

今天收到今年的第一份聖誕禮物：Swarovski Eternity Pendant。真的是太感動了～還是Fedex快遞來的，就是為了趕在聖誕節前送到！事先已經知道這份大禮，收到時的心情是興奮無比；迫不及待地打開禮物，眼下被這藍色貝形水晶的光彩奪目所震撼，藍的晶瑩剔透，好似個無暇純真的特質。聽說這墜鍊還得是加入會員才能購買，真是龜毛的機制設定，搞個什麼會員獨享的專案。真是太謝謝了，無以回報啊～

挪威的乾哥Geir最近把他兒子康康的近照傳給我分享小朋友的生活點滴，看到調皮精靈的小康康大戰龍蝦的照片時，不僅噗哧笑了出來。由於康康是在北挪威居住，可以說是個北海小龍王，從小就跟這些蝦兵蟹將打打鬧鬧；每週都到海邊去耍野，跟爸爸乘風破浪捕魚去，看慣大魚大蝦，也吃片山珍海味，膽子勇氣十足。Geir自豪地說自己維京人狂傲不羈的個性，兒子康康似乎是盡得真傳，冒險犯難的精神，從一歲多就爬天窗、鑽麵粉袋、撲向巨浪的特質可證明。

Last week I have been reading methodological approaches and the definition of some philosophy due to the research methods. I found those philosophical theories very interesting, which explain many social structure and individual perspective. Although I would like to read into it and disclose my life views, it is also confusing and contradictive when I tried to decipher the ideas. The perspective from different researchers are different even they may be categorized in the same theory supporters. Yet, everyone has their own views to explain the circumstances and theories to frame their experience and form their thoughts towards life.
As Paul suggested, the point is that I need to find my stand to explain my research design and understand how I use them and what I have understood about the approaches that I adopted. According to my mixed methods in this virtual teamwork and networking research, critical realism is considered a safe explanation to describe my data analysis in qualitative and quantitative methods. Critical realism (the idea waiting to be discovered: any position that maintains that there exists an objectively knowable entity as a mental object and something that makes up awareness) is associated with positivism and constructivism; thus, qualitative and quantitative methodologies are considered appropriate within a critical realism framework (Healy & Perry, 2000). In other words, from a realist perspective, mixed methods are feasible to investigate the latent mechanisms that conduct actions and events. Methods such as case studies and unstructured or semi-structured in-depth interviews are applicable and suitable within the paradigm, as are statistical analyses (Bisman, 2002; Perry, Alizadeh, & Riege, 1997).

Last Sunday afternoon, I had a very relaxing afternoon in the cafe shop in town. I picked up a very good view to sit and spent several hours thinking of my thesis planning and the ideas of future plan. I enjoyed my white chocolate cafe moca and cherished the moment I could have.

I took this picture when I was in the flight back to Taiwan. I was so impressed by the night view through the small square window of the plane. It was so significant and tremendous. I took this picture through my first 2mega pixel digital camera. The view was so good and I did not use any particular camera equipment to take this picture. The picture was taken to remember the moment and record my feelings through the colour presentation. Honestly, my moods turned to be peaceful whilst looking outside and enjoyed the tranquillity of the night.

英國 曼徹斯特
丙戌年初冬

週末與兩位設計人員同事聊到設計與創作理念，一個資深設計執導深刻感嘆由於現在設計軟體工具充斥，大夥兒都似乎以自己能運作設計軟體，展現一完整成品而能自居設計者；但他提到一個關鍵性的分歧來表示設計師的能力與品質──創意，來別以區分什麼是設計人，什麼是創作人。換句話說，就是畫家與畫匠的差異。
資深同事提到他上週在倫敦帶領一設計團體做成品展現，有一個年輕小伙子不能理解為什麼他們設計人員的薪水與創意設計執導的價錢有極大差別（時薪約15至25鎊差異），且資深執導人員又非能在設計工具軟體的運作或是電腦軟體的多樣化拔得頭籌。小伙子認為只要精通幾項設計軟體，很多令人讚嘆的成品就可以呼之欲出，甚至是變化萬千；於是，同樣都能成就一項成品，為什麼彼此的薪水會有此極大差別。

這一週半生病，休息了一陣子，因為上週差點在夢中嗝屁，睡覺呼吸順不過來，清醒間無法動彈，標準的鬼壓床現象；大概是自己操勞過度，沒有適量的休息吧。這一週就徹底降低工作時數與減低使用電腦，但是眼見月底就得交上兩章，心理還是有點擔心進度問題。
接下來幾天都是呼吸不順暢，剛開始自己疑神疑鬼，以為自己有氣喘，呼吸無法調節；後來是發現，左肋骨、胸腔與肩頰骨部份都過度疼痛，左手臂酸痛虛軟無力，查了NHS Direct line，建議我直接掛急診。怕自己沒病嚇出病，還是打了24小時專線找醫生，至少可以知道是到底真得上A & E (Accident & Emergency) 急診，還是隔天去找醫生檢查檢查。
