Adam Lambert from American Idol 2009. I enjoyed Adam Lambert's songs most of time and I especially enjoyed this one: Ring Of Fire.

The original singer Johnny Cash-Ring of Fire 1963.
I compared the differences between Johnny Cash and Adam Lambert but I think that they are completely different. I think Adam Lambert successfully reversed the old version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. So there is no fun to compare such different styles.
However, I somehow associate Adam Lambert with Vitas, a Russian pop singer with an unusually high vocal registor. Vistas's "Opera#2" has been forwarded frequently via the Internet, which accounts for much of his worldwide recognition.
Both of them have broad vocal range and mix different techniques by often mixing falso and head voice.

Well, I am not an expert in music or singing. It's just a basic observation. For me, I can't help but associate Adam Lambert with Vitas. I think it'd be more interesting to compare these two singers.
