Be aware of credit card cloning

I like to use credit card because I don't have to carry money around. However, I ever lost some money in credit card transaction because I didn't check how much exactly was taken when the clerk swiped my card (I deserved it...a stupid head). Now, I use cash more and understand why British prefer using cash more than plastic card.
